I am a wanderer in this adventure I like to call life. I have learned that to make a living, one has to get something from others, but in order to make a life, one has to give something to others.
I have an undergraduate degree in International Relations and a graduate diploma in International Commerce. I spent six years working in the “real world” as a commerce advisor for a bank, an import/export manager for a manufacturing company, and as an international marketing consultant for a multinational firm.
Even though these experiences were positive, my heart was not in them. My curiosity and love of uncertainty led me to put away the suit and briefcase and to leave for a three month backpacking “dream” trip in Europe. I knew what I wanted: the freedom, the adventure, the uncertainty.
